Research supports the assertion that physical activity contributes to the overall well being and academic performance of students. Students can improve their health, classroom performance and quality of life by participating in the activities offered in daily PE programs.
The active living approach is the focus of our Physical Education Program. We have two physical education teachers at our school. Students are scheduled to have 4 classes of physed with our P.E. teachers each week and homeroom teachers instruct for the fifth day of physical activity each week.
