Well we have made it through the first two weeks of school!  Yahoo!  It is a real pleasure teaching this group.  Last year I was teaching grade three and this year grade one....quite the learning curve!  We have been getting used to routines and changes being big grade ones this year.  We have had our first music class and it was pretty special for them since last year they didnt have music!  I am getting to know your children better everyday.  They love telling me stories about everything happening in all your lives....lol.  Love it!!

We are starting a PWIM picture this week and continuing with our alphabet review.  Homework has been brought up by many parents.  Please enjoy your family time at nights!  I only ask that you do at least 20 minutes reading.  This is great homework and you also enjoy time together.  Should I need extra review on any given concept I will send home a note in the RED FOLDER.  Remember they grow up really fast!
